What do you understand by drawing?

To my understanding drawing is a type of visual art where artist uses pencils and color to recreate images on plain paper, this usual done for some many reasons like communication and warnings.

In essence, drawing is a method that uses lines to represent objects on a surface. That's drawing can be said as the or process whereby artists organize lines, structure and shape into organized manner that resembles an image or Idea

Take a picture of something you can draw. Why did you choose this particular picture

Actually here is an image of me holding up my Oramio 27,000 mAh Power bank. I did chose this image accidentally, that's is to say I wanted to draw a house but at the late hours I changed my mind because it started raining heavily, so therefore I couldn't go outside to take the picture of the house because my phone is not water proof and I didn't want to get wet. So I decided to take my power bank up and take a picture as you can see above, another reason i used this image is because it is much easier to draw.

How would you feel if someone else took a picture of you and draw

This would be awesome, I would love it whole-hearthedly, infact I would be so glad and I would willingly pay the artist for his or her service. I am even really ready to pay any price I can afford for such valuable art, there are even more valuable than real pictures from the phone and camera.

If I was a professional artist, I would spend much more time drawing myself than drawing any other things, drawing a human is the most awesome art I ever admire.

What were the challenges you had when drawing

Initially I was discouraged about making an entry for this contest but along the line I remembered that the is no harm in trying, you might be wondering why I discouraged but to be sincere to you I have not drawn any thing for over 3 years now. Infact the last time I drew something a house, I drew a rubbish😂 house that even the poorest cartoon character won't stay for free🤣🤣🤣🌝 and I was laughed at by my naughty friends Roy and Franklin.

Another challenge I faced was that I have no drawing equipment like the pencil, sketch book or colors to draw, so therefore I used a blue inked pen and a sheet of paper from my rough book to draw the power bank you see above

Do you think you can continue with your newfound talent (Rate yourself)

Hmmmm, if I get a strong mentor who can guide me with love on how to draw, until then I don't think I will continue with this skill because from what I see above, that's no talent it's a skill. From the very first day I also had problem with drawing thing, because I used to draw awkward images like the power bank I drew above, this more reason I wouldn't want to continue until I get a quality guardian.

Looking at my drawing above the rating is obvious, I would rate my self 5/10 because it's looking like a low quality product, although it is looking it look me little time to draw this because of my unexpected change in plans.

Provided you had everything at your disposal, will you take drawing as a profession?

No, unless I have upgraded my drawing skill, because there are so many great and awesome artist in the world now and I know the only way I would make it in drawing is to improve my drawing skill otherwise I won't make much dime or money.

I am an open-minded person who is open to all skills and Idea but at same time I am a guy who always want to be in the lime- light in everything I do, so therefore if I know a field I have lower chance of becoming the best I would leave it. I know with my skill need to upgrade a lot of things before I can competit with professionals.

How has this exercise contributed to your personal growth

Although I have been condemning my work, I still have a little part that tells me I did better than before so, if I continue making such entry I believe I would someday totally change my negative thinking and fear of drawing poorly.

This is to say the contest really helped me improve my self-confidence and courage when drawing images and live structures.
