Yesterday, I got up early, took a bath, and had something to eat. Afterward, I headed to Foncha Junction, where our partner is located. Upon arrival, I waited for a bit until my boss and other colleagues arrived. The main goal of this meeting was to teach our partners how to make tree nursery pots out of plastic bottles, reducing the use of polythene bags for nursery pots. This initiative not only helps clean up the environment but also provides employment and economic opportunities for young people.
It was an amazing yet challenging learning experience for me. I was in charge of perforating the bottles using a soldering iron, and I ended up piercing my hand several times. Despite the wounds, it was worth it. We managed to make 170 nursery pots in less than two hours. Afterward, we took the upper parts of the bottles to our shredding site to further recycle them into pellets.
After this, we returned to the office, where I didn't do much and had some time to chat with my smallie. Then, I headed back home, concluding my day.
