Steem greetings and Merry Christmas,
Christmas is a season of deforestation and plastic pollution. Lots of people cut trees for Christmas trees 🎄 or purchase plastic made Christmas trees. These leave our environment in grave danger because they are contributing to deforestation and plastic pollution just because they want to celebrate Christmas.
Christmas is an annual event and it’s best if we plan it in such a way that our impact on the environment will be minimal.
In a bid to curb my carbon footprint during Christmas, i planted some trees in front of my home a few years ago and these trees now serve as my natural and ecofriendly Christmas trees.
During Christmas I prune and light the trees and they are just the perfect thing.
Yesterday, I pruned my trees as you see in the images below:
At the end of the day, I had these two beautiful trees pending lighting for Christmas 🎄
I advice all Steemians out there to kindly go green during this Christmas. They can plant their own Christmas trees and it will serve them for a life time while serving the planet.
