Hello fellow steemians and welcome to another edition of my dairy post . This sunday was quite a special day in the church calender as most christians all over the world celebrated ASSUMPTION day .
It was a worship sunday , so i woke up as early as i could and started preparing for service . I left home for service at about 8am , when i got to church sound was still being set so i assisted and service kicked off few minutes after.
We started with prayers and intercessions and what preceeded this was a powerful 1 hour praise and worship session. Service continued as usual but i must confess the unprepared ministration by 1 of our lead singers was remarkablly awesome🎹🎸🎺🔥.
After service , i had to return home for a short rest before leaving for a friends place not too far .
When i got there , i met with other friends who also came to visit and we had fun together . At about 4pm , we left for town to purchase few articles which will be used by a friend who had plans for travelling to the capital city . When we were done in town , we drove to a famous snack around to play snookers🎱.
We spent quite some time on the snookers board and when it was getting dark we all returned home . On our way back we made a stop to purchase launch and drinks and thats how my day looked like , thanks for reading.

Yep there is. Assumption is just from the name, an assumed date for the taking up of Mary. It's believed that she was taken up body and soul on that day. Ascension is the taking up of Jesus Christ as we all know right!
