ASCENDING TO THE TOP (Leadership) : Sequel 2

Good day steaming Steemians. Today we are going to be having the second sequel of the series; Ascending to the Top. Through this sequel, we are going to move even deeper into the discovery of the path to the top as a Godly leader.

The bible says "Christ has redeemed us . He has made us unto our God kings and priests". Kings are those who rule, those who dictate the outcome of circumstances, those in charge, Victors not victims. The bible says woe to thee when thy king is a child (unbeliever), but blessed are thou o land when thy king is the son of a noble (righteous). You must use this lesson to mirror your life and refuse to embrace a status quo of life which isn't reflective of God's good will, refuse to be in a comfort zone that is disastrous and not consistent with the will of God. Accept that there is a place at the top and God wants you to be taken there to the glory of His name, so that your life will be more of a blessing to many people, not be victims of the decisions made by the wicked, but to be pacesetter and trail blazers.

The bible in the book of Proverbs says;

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
- Proverbs 22:29

So, the something in life known as mean men, mean or mediocre entourage is not the position for diligent people. Diligence takes up, if you want to move up to the realms of kings, you need to apply the wisdom of diligence. The question is; are you diligent in life? Diligence in you business, career etc., will bring you before kings (on top). If you are under (below) in you business, ministry, family, marriage, academics or what ever domain God has given you, know that it's acceptable to start small (at the bottom), but unacceptable to stay small. Of course the bible says in the book of Zechariah;

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the LORD that search all around the world.)
- Zachariah 4:10

Yes, it's the beginning, so it's right to start small but it continues by saying "... your latter end shall greatly increase". The bible also says;

Romans 2:11

He is rich to all that call upon Him. This means if we just position ourselves as God's children within the framework of His plans for us, embracing His way for us, then we can replicate any successful results we see in the bible.

And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
- Deuteronomy 28:13

The verse above strictly emphasizes once more the path "... hearken unto the commandments of the Lord...". Its therefore clear once more that there is the requirement provision for God's children to be at the top. Thus far, you shouldn't have doubt again in your life that God wants you go be at the top, BUT HOW DO WE GET THERE? This is where we find the difference.

Of course we said through diligence, but diligence in what? How diligent, why being diligent? God questions because you can be diligent in the worldly way. We have a lot of diligent people at the top but yet not by serving God, not by doing things Gods way, in fact there are crooks at the top, there are unrighteous men at the top. How did they get there? Through crockery of course., through deception and through all the paths of ungodliness. Is it safe for them? Of course not. Their fall is terrible, their sorrows are enormous, their peace has been taken away, they don't have rest, but God has a way for us.

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
- Proverbs 10:22

This means you can get to the top the worlds way as well as you can get there God's way. The danger is that when you get to the top the worlds way, your destruction is eminent, your sorrows will be beyond number. There's the way that seems right unto a man, it looks like it brought you there, like it gave you that name, that wife, that husband, that child, but the end is disaster. Such ways of the world are not without sorrows. But when God blesses His children, its effortless and safe. Thats why we said ; good understanding is the shortest, safest, most effective path between you and that destination you seek to be at.

Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.
- Proverbs 13:15

So when we do things God's way, we are safe in His plans. So don't just be diligent. We've seen a lot of people rise to authority, leadership and fame; stars in the world, political people, business tycoons etc,. Being rich influential or in power isn't wrong; but how did you get there, and now that you are there, what's your agenda, and to whose glory are you there? You don't use the world's way to get the top to serve God, for God does not need the world's way to take any of us to the top for His glory, No. And this is why God's children must embrace the way of light.

We shall take a crucial and glaring example from the bible to show that God can go through unimaginable Goldly ways to take us from bottom to top. We shall explain the story of Joseph. You might say you know about this story but you will be amazed at the depth of that story you didn't know about or that you ignored.
