Hello Cameronians I salute you all from Nigeria, i am @udoikotabasi by username, its nice meeting you all, I feel i should share a diary i had always wanted to go back to for real, though by time, its been a while since the incident happens but let me use this opportunity to share my personal experience with you Steemians.
On the 7th of June 2023 at about 10:47 PM. Something tragic happened to us, at about 10:47 PM we bumped into some group of boys in Ikot Ubok Udom village junction, Nsit Atai Local Government Area Akwa Ibom State Nigeria, they stop us demanding sum money from us but we had no money with us at that time ahh.. it was funny at first but the scene became so serious as my driver was knocked down, a punch to my lips from one of those boys because there was no money that night to give to them.
At some point some of those boys became passionate because they driver I hired couldn't come back to live till about 3:27 AM but then he was so unconscious. Oh that night, they began quarrel amongst themselves their gang leader left us angrily an went to the front just to maunt road block on us again because someone of his men rebuked him his heart harden on us, though we had to slept in the bush after they had all gone just to save our life's.
Coming back home was a difficult tasks, my driver been unconscious couldn't drive back home until 04:58 PM, where I became his eyes and director showing him, telling him how, where to negotiate his steering to. At something point I told the driver to stop the car because he became so unconscious sleeping on steering then I told him to rest his head for sometimes so he could recover and that really help us, after he had rested for one hour an some minutes we started our journey again. Here I was trying to get the kernels back to the bus.
At About 7:37 PM in Uyo village road trying to ascending the hill our car couldn't go further rather reverse almost falling into the ravine but God so kind one of the back tire got into the drainage and busted while the front car was lifted up, ahh trying everything possible to pulled out the car from the drainage all alone in a lonely road was a difficult tasks. (I couldn't take this particular photos because I was so exhausted and unhappy, unsafe on a lonely road).
Thank God, An angel came to our rescue. A mini bus driver was coming from church an met us in sad situation he had to gave us his battery to start the car and the life became a little bit easier for us with his effort we left the lonely road and got back home safely.
The story of my life on 7th and 8th of June 2023. There is nothing as beautiful as escaping a life threatening event and coming back stronger to tell the tale, it happened, I learnt the lessons, God came through for me and that is all that matters, hope you had a wonderful time staying up with me throughout this diary session, i will be back again tomorrow.
