What do I know about the day? |

World Teacher's day is culled from the fact that Teachers remain the builder of the nation. Right before professional course was introduced to the world, they had being a noble course called Teaching. This course was just about passion and nurturing the young ones to be useful to themselves and to the society. But when the professional courses came on board, their aim was to improve life and cater for profit. This profit acquisition made people to forget about this noble course which has been for millenniums. This continues till when UNESCO approves 5th of September annually to celebrate their worth of teachers in our society.

The mascot is a pictorial representation of the word "Happy Teacher's day". Beneath it, we have a pencil, a note book and a ruler. This are the important members of information dissemination.

The essence of World Teacher's day is felt in different aspects and here are some of it.
- Dignity Restoration: Due to this date, a teacher's dignity is being restored in its full capacity. Back in time, we normally see and adore professional courses like medicine, law, engineering, etc. By doing this, we ignore the mother of all courses which is Teaching. With this, World Teacher's day has a purpose of correcting that flaw.
- Rekindled Passion: Imagine a passionate person who has been ignored for some time, one will notice that the passion in the person dies out gradually. But, when the person is remembered, then the passion will be activated more than never before. This is what happens when World Teacher's day is celebrated among teachers. They tend to get the old fire burning brighter than never before.
Who are the active promoter, and my impact to this day |

The active promoter of this day remains the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organizations (UNESCO). This organization has made different countries of the world to follow suit making sure the tradition doesn't die out. Currently in my country, we normally celebrate them by going to the stadium to value their worth.
On my own part, what I'll do to strengthen this day is to go into the rural parts and appreciate the teachers there with what I can afford. This will boost their productivity in creating more future leaders.
