Hello empowered steemians, today marks my first ever contest participation. I am going to share with you a short story marking best day of last week ranging 17th to 23rd May 2021 and also revealing to one of my multiple abilities. God bless the minds of @steem-cameroon for the initiative.
First things first, I am a chorister of the English Choir in Simbock Yaoundé which is a member-choir of the Presbyterian English Choirs Association (PECA) EMPN. For God's glory, I range the Bass vocals and sometimes Tenor too.

About Sunday 23rd May 2021, with the coordination of our Parish pastor Rev. Titatang Kingsley of P.C. Simbock-Mendong, We the New vision choir went to fellowship and sow an English Choir seed in an emerging prayer created under our parish. By name Eloumndem Prayer Cell, has in existence last year 2020 under the shepherd wood of Rev. Titatang. Its number of Christians grew arithmetically.
Now, the reception, worship, everything was amazing but went it came to the moment of creating a baby choir as planned, goodness, we going to be happy to have a 10 newbies for the choir, guess what! We had 22 who stood, move forward and collected candles to start the new choir. We got mesmerized as we presented a series of songs
especially our most recent rally songs,at the fact that already had willing patrons and together with the other Christians put more that enough funds for the baby choir to kick start.
We knew it wasn't going to be an easy task, but to know, see the people accept and welcome the idea and as well ready to make it work, was all together fascinating. GOD bless the all.
Presently we have a series of workshop with them to make sure they pickup rapidly and keep the candle light burning. It would be a great pleasure to minister with this young group at our Parish Shepherd's induction on Sunday 20th June 2021.
