Steemit Engagement Challenge S8-W5 | My Parents, My Heroes

It's another great week of the engagement challenge contest and peace is so delighted to share my entry with you. In this week's topic, we were asked to share our view on the theme “ My parents, My heroes” indeed our parents are our heroes because without them we won't exist on this planet.

Parenthood can be seen as a combination of two people that is, a man and a woman joined together in a matrimonial way. They are both severe as a father and mothers who always take responsibility for taking care of their children, the parenthood usually starts when they give birth to their first child. The upbringing of the child, health, grow all depend on the parents so parenthood is the act of both parents taking care of their offspring.

Parenthood is one of the sweetest things that can happen to everyone but, unfortunately, most people don't enjoy parenthood due to one reason or the other. The love of a parent is always different from any other love. So it's indeed a great experience to be a parent.

While I was so lucky to have both parents but I never got the time to enjoy my childhood with my father because he died when I was just two years old, since then my mum has been there for me despite the issue she had with her inlaws but she never gave up, all she wanted was for me to have a good life just like any other kids out there.

My mother is my hero and I can say that at any time and everywhere, she has always been there for me up till date, her love for me is something I can't comprehend because she sacrificed her all just to make sure that I have a good life and never lack anything in this world.

My mother is my priority and she is one of the most important people in my life, all I pray to God each day is to make me rich so that I will take good care of her in her old age. I believe with hard work I will make her proud someday. My mum is my world without her there is no peace and I don't joke with her.

While I was a child I usually do a lot of things with my mum even when I grow up we still do a lot of things together. My mum is a good chef so the cooking skill I learned first from her, we are always together in the kitchen making delicious meals, sometimes we go shopping with my mum and when it's time for the farm season we do go to the farm together.

We do a lot of these things with my mum which I can't mention all of because if I should then my content will be boring to read. As I mentioned earlier my mum is my world and I'm always happy around her.

While to me the major role of a parent is to train their children in the way it should go so that when the child is old he will not depart from the training the parent gave him. Indeed, we always go to school but our best teachers are our parents because they teach us a lot even before they enrolled us in school. There is a saying that says “catch them Young ” this implies that both parents should educate and teach their children good things so that when they are of age they will adapt to it.

In most cases when a child does something wrong out there, the things people will say is, the parent did not train him well so I think the first role of a parent is to train a child well.

Another role of the parent is to meet up with their children's needs, in time off school fees, clothes, food, and many other things that will keep the child healthy and happy. Also, parents should always be friendly with their children in that way they will know if their child is happy or not. But nowadays most parents live their children with nani's not minding how the child feels.

All parents should always meet up with their responsibilities of taking care of their children at all costs.

Oooh no, parenthood is not and can never be scammed because without our parents there won't be us. Parenthood is the best moment in everyone wants to experience because there is this joy from the parent when they see their child growing and becoming a good person in the future. I know in most cases where parent lose their parent while giving birth to them but even at that they always wish for their parents to be alive. Likewise the parents.
