Hello steemians of Cameeron.Sharing my day with you is an happy moment for me.Saturdays is like a weekend here in my country,I don't know of your country.It is an activity free day unlike from Monday to Friday where we go to work non-stop.

I was scrolling through my phone on Thursday when my elder sister messaged that a conference was coming up this incoming Saturday which is today.At first,I didn't want to attend because I was reluctant.Then,I took my phone this early morning to fill the form to attend because without filling it and acquiring my ticket,I won't be able to check-in not to talk of entering the event center.This events is organized by Google to enlighten us on some people who wanted to go into tech and don't know the technical knowhow.The theme of the events is devfest devfest2023 devfestinilorin

The events center was located at romeinchs,an international and popular school located here in ilorin, Nigeria.The hall was big enough to accommodate lots of people.The speakers were about 8 in number.They talked about a lots about tech and was able to learn things I don't know about since am not into tech or even knowing things about it.We played a game called techies charade where a person will have to demonstrate with his/her hands for the contestants to know what he/she is saying.
They talked on their journey on tech and how they keep on growing by sharing some technics and strategies they keyed into.I make sure to note some things down which I find helpful since am an enterpreneurer but most were on tech though.
Then I met this troublesome guy which was a volunteer for the events.It was when we had a break,we went out to take some pictures for memories.Then,he asked us to come inside for another round of session and he was interrupting us snapping.

Today was indeed a benefitting day for me as I have gained a lot.I would have regretted my action if I didn't attend because events like this comes once in a year and it is organized by GOOGLE.Once in a while,you just have to go outta there,mingle with new people and gain ideas and experiences from them.I was delighted attending this event today.I hope to see more of this type as I am ready and anticipating for more.
