‘부겐빌레아(Bougainvillea/paper flower)’를 만나다
‘부겐빌레아’는 덩굴성 관목으로 남아메리카 브라질이 고향입니다.
13종 내외의 품종이 있습니다.
꽃은 4월에서 11월까지 연중 피며
색상은 흰색, 빨강, 분홍, 노란색 등 다양합니다.
포(苞)는 꽃처럼 보이며
그 안에 들어 있는 진짜 꽃은 작고 눈에 잘 띄지 않습니다.
내륙에서는 온실에서 재배하여 실내원예로 키우고 있는데
담장에서 멋지게 크고 있었죠.

꽃중에 꽃이네요. 벌나비들은 냄새로 아니까 헷갈리지 않겠지만 전부가 꽃인 것 처럼 착각이 드는 예쁜 종류네요.
