If you dream of ever going to Hallstatt Austria, then PLEASE do not miss out on the gorgeous lake region called "Salzkammergut" just around it! As beautiful as Hallstatt Austria is, the towns of Bad Ischl, Bad Aussee, St.Wolfgang, Gosau, St.Gilgen, Gmunden are equally beautiful.
