Papaya Strain Review - New All Time Favourite!!!

in hive-195708 •  4 years ago

This one is coming a little after the fact but I loved the strain so much that still I think of it’s perfectly smooth hauls. Was it the grow, the cure, or just the genetics? I can’t say for certain but I know if I see this beauty again it will be my first grab in anticipation!

Papaya Strain Review

This strain according to Wikileaf.com is a ...

Indica dominant strain that smells and tastes strongly of mango and carries a THC count range between 20 and 25 percent.

All of which I totally agree with! Papaya tastes very strongly of mango in fact and with the after flavour of strong bitter/fruity terps the name is rather suiting.

Sporting a very classic Indica stone this strain's bodily effect are often described as narcotic. The effects set in heavily, numbing the whole body but causing users to feel lazy and tired. Still it is not without cerebral effects as it has a light mood elevating effect that can be very relaxing.

They state the strain is good for anxiety and depression and sparks creativity, thinking back this may have been what I really enjoyed about the strain and had not recognized it. I stated it was super smooth previously but I remember myself feeling lost in creativity. Not much for a motivator but it did help with sparking new angles on past ideas. I was feeling calm with this one but burn out was heavy making it a better evening stone.

Genetics & Flavour

Citral #13 x Ice #2 = Nirvana Seeds take on Mango

I really appreciate their choice of Ice #2 bringing in that spicy peppery side of the flavour profile. Takes the sweet citrus from over powering to mellow and intriguing. It has that familiar sweet flavour one tries to identify on each haul yet its subtle enough to keep you guessing what it is your tasting exactly.

Bud Structure

I can’t speak for yield or anything like that but what I can state is this strains fluffy buds bust up and roll nicely. Not a very sticky batch either which made for keeping my joints nice and fat! I was impressed with one bud rolling 2 solid joints without having to fight with sticky papers. Obviously both myself and the fiancé were satisfied with the stone, that’s pretty good in my books for one session since my better half can be more tolerant then myself.

Burn & Buzz

I can clearly remember on several occasions wondering if the joint is ever going to end trying to smoke it myself. Though it didn’t seem very sticky while rolling, it definitely ended up to be a resin pooer. The ash was clean and doobie after doobie burned slow without canoeing even in the slightest. One of my new all time favourite strains not just for flavour but for how well the joints stayed lit being fluffy bud.

The buzz is heavy and immediately effective. Burn out likewise felt like hitting a wall, I took several mid day naps that week LOL. Having a decent up time of 1-2 hours I found this one to be more about immediate effect then long lasting through the day.

If it’s a sit down and chill strain you want to get lost in. Plus enjoy the curiosity of wondering what fruit the strain reminds you interests you then ...

I Highly Suggest Papaya!
