Fewa powerhouse is located in Pokhara. It lies around 4km from Siddhartha Highway.It generates about 1 MW electricity and supplies to the transmission line.Not only it generates electricity but also the water which comes after roatating turbines adds beauty to the surrounding as we can see in the below photographs. The overflow waters joins to the Fursey khola river. For the generation of electricity, a steep slope is required, for this propose also there is a steep land structure. And overflow water also falls from the steep land structure as a result is a formation of streamlets,which is a natural and people comes to enjoy the natural streamslets. As there is availabily of river people comes for swimming also.
