El Gran Premio de Abu Dabi fue una carrera que tuvo un final no apto para cardiacos. A largo de la carrera no falto emoción, nervios y adrenalina, tanto en los pilotos, como en los miembros de las diferentes escuderías que participan en el campeonato.

Los asistentes al circuito y quienes lo vieron a través de la pantalla chica, no pueden quejarse de no haber vivido una de las carreras más emocionantes en mucho tiempo en la máxima competición de la velocidad automotriz.

Hamilton tomo la delantera en apenas se dio la partida de la carrea he hiso emocionar a sus seguidores al sentir que ya el campeonato se estaba sentenciando. Es bien sabido que el coche de Mercedes ha demostrado ser el más rápido del campeonato y de allí que se diera por concluido el campeonato con este inicio de carrera.

Pero la escudería del Toro Rojo tenía preparada una estrategia que implemento y logro frutos positivos para la mismas. Se demostró que la estrategia del Toro Rojo no estaba tan alejada de la realidad de la carrera cuando Mercedes comenzó a imitar la misma.

El héroe de la noche fue el mejicano Serio Pérez que logro aplicar una estrategia súper efectiva a partir de la vuelta 19 para lograr recortar la ventaja de 10 segundo que llevaba Hamilton sobre Verstappen.

Muchas veces, el piloto ingles no quiso arriesgar su participación en la carrera al intentar quitarse del medio al piloto mejicano. Fue tan ejemplar como Pérez freno a Hamilton, que se pudo escuchar en las transmisiones del audio de la escudería del Toro Rojo cuando Verstappen decía CHECO ES GRANDE, al referirse al esfuerzo que hizo su compañero para lograr que neerlandés alcanzara al piloto inglés.

Todo continuó con la presión de Verstappen sobre Hamilton en el resto de las vueltas que quedaban hasta la bandera a cuadros. Faltando 5 vueltas sucedió lo impensable. Latifi perdió el control de su monoplaza y termino chocando el muro en uno de los sectores naranja de lo pista.

Esto llevo a la salida del vehículo de seguridad y que las últimas cinco vueltas. Se presentaron momentos de tensión. Verstappen aprovechó para entrar a la fosa y hacer cambio de neumáticos. Hamilton no lo quiso hacer ya que podía perder la punta del campeonato.

El pico de la tensión se dio cuando los comisarios de la carrea decretaron que los vehículos rezagados no cedieran el paso a Verstappen. Otra decisión controvertida que caía sobre el piloto neerlandés.

Todos, pilotos, miembros de escudería, seguidores en las gradas de la pista, televidentes, no podían creer la decisión tomada por los comisarios. La adrenalina se comenzaba a convertir en ira y el ambiente se tornó pesado.

Ya casi con la salida del vehículo de seguridad de la pista para que se reanudará la carrera, la decisión de los comisarios fue cambiada y los carros rezagados se apartaron para que Verstappen se acercara a Hamilton.

Casi en la reanudación se vivió un momento de tensión cuando Verstappen comenzó a amenazar al Hamilton intentando emparejarlo segundos antes de la reanudación. Un toque entre ambos vehículos sería un final triste para ambos.

Se reanuda la carrea y ambos pilotos iban por la bandera a cuadro en la última vuelta del último gran premio del campeonato en esta temporada. A pesar de que el coche del Mercedes es el más rápido del campeonato, el miembro del Toro Rojo no lo dejaba escapar.

Ataque sobre ataque fie la situación que se veía en la pista entre estos dos pilotos. Hasta que llegó el momento en que el ataque del neerlandés tuvo frutos y paso a ocupar la primera posición de la carrera.

El inglés no vendería barato el campeonato he intento dos veces recuperar la punta con dos grandes ataques sobre su competidor. Pero Verstappen supo defenderse y al final la bandera de cuadro lo declaro el ganador de la carrera y por consiguiente campeón de la temporada 2021 de la máxima categoría de la velocidad automotriz.

En lo personal, un triunfo y título preferido para este joden piloto neerlandés perteneciente a la escudería Toro Rojo. Mercedes logro el campeonato de constructores de eta temporada, así que no quedo con las manos vacías.

Ahora solo queda tomarse un descanso en la máxima competición al final una temporada con muchos altos y bajos. Una temporada marcada por muchas especulaciones, decisiones controvertidas, emociones, decepciones. La más grande decepción, quizás sea, la poca competitividad de Ferrari.

Pero este y otros temas serán motivos de otras publicaciones de mi parte o de tertulias en reuniones de quienes lean este escrito.

Ya con las posiciones y puntos definidos por la FIA sobre este Gran Premio de Abu Dabi, acá les presento los resultados de la participación en esta edición 18 del concurso.

Los pronósticos de esta edición se inclinaron a favor de un primer lugar para Hamilton y un segundo lugar para Verstappen. Sin embargo, sucedió lo contrario y es por ello que la puntuación de los pronosticadores en muy baja, y en algunos casos, nula.

El ganador de esta edición fue el único que coloco sus fichas a favor del piloto neerlandés y de la escudería del Toro Rojo. Lo cierto del caso es que el podio de esta edición de concurso quedo conformado de la siguiente manera:

• @betop, primer lugar con 30 de los 76 posibles de obtener.
• @eve73, el segundo lugar con 8 puntos.
• @Karols1, quien obtuvo el tercer lugar con 5 puntos.

En el apartado de ACUMULADO ya tenemos a un ganador. Fue una batalla fácil para el ganador ya que muchos de quienes lo perseguían abandonaron el concurso y lo dejaron escapar en la punta, en solitario.

Greetings Speed lovers of the #impulse community! Last Sunday saw the 22nd and final Grand Prix of the Formula 1 calendar for this 2021.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was a race that had a final that was not suitable for cardiacs. Throughout the race there was no lack of excitement, nerves and adrenaline, both in the drivers and in the members of the different teams participating in the championship.

Those who attended the circuit and those who watched it on the small screen cannot complain about not having experienced one of the most exciting races in a long time in the maximum competition of automotive speed.

Hamilton took the lead as soon as the start of the race was given and made his followers thrilled as they felt that the championship was already being decided. It is well known that the Mercedes car has proven to be the fastest in the championship and that is why the championship was concluded with this start of the race.

But the Red Bull team had prepared a strategy that they implemented and achieved positive results for them. It was shown that the Red Bull's strategy was not so far from the reality of the race when Mercedes began to imitate it.

The hero of the night was the Mexican Serio Perez who managed to apply a super effective strategy from lap 19 onwards to cut Hamilton's 10-second lead over Verstappen.

Many times, the English driver did not want to risk his participation in the race by trying to get out of the Mexican driver's way. It was as exemplary as Perez was in stopping Hamilton, which could be heard on the Red Bull team's audio transmissions when Verstappen said CHECO IS GREAT, referring to the effort his teammate made to get the Dutchman to catch up with the English driver.

Everything continued with Verstappen's pressure on Hamilton for the rest of the remaining laps until the checkered flag. With 5 laps to go, the unthinkable happened. Latifi lost control of his car and ended up hitting the wall in one of the orange sectors of the track.

This led to the exit of the safety car and the last five laps. There were some tense moments. Verstappen took the opportunity to enter the pit and change tires. Hamilton did not want to do so as he could lose the championship lead.

The peak of the tension came when the race stewards decreed that the lagging cars should not give way to Verstappen. Another controversial decision that fell on the Dutch driver.

Everyone, drivers, team members, fans in the grandstands, TV viewers, could not believe the decision taken by the stewards. Adrenaline was turning into anger and the atmosphere became heavy.

Almost when the safety car left the track to resume the race, the stewards' decision was changed and the lagging cars were moved aside so that Verstappen could get closer to Hamilton.

Almost at the restart there was a tense moment when Verstappen started to threaten Hamilton trying to catch him seconds before the restart. A touch between the two cars would be a sad end for both.

The race restarted and both drivers were going for the checkered flag on the last lap of the last grand prix of the championship this season. Despite the Mercedes car being the fastest car in the championship, the Red Bull member would not let him get away.

Attack on attack was the situation on the track between these two drivers. Until the moment came when the Dutchman's attack paid off and he took the first position of the race.

The Englishman would not sell the championship cheap and tried twice to regain the lead with two major attacks on his competitor. But Verstappen was able to defend himself and in the end the checkered flag declared him the winner of the race and therefore champion of the 2021 season of the highest category of automotive speed.

Personally, a triumph and a favorite title for this fucking Dutch driver belonging to the Toro Rojo team. Mercedes won the constructors' championship this season, so he was not left empty-handed.

Now it only remains to take a break in the top competition at the end of a season with many ups and downs. A season marked by many speculations, controversial decisions, emotions, disappointments. The biggest disappointment, perhaps, is Ferrari's lack of competitiveness.

But this and other topics will be the subject of other publications on my part or of discussions in meetings of those who read this article.
