Ertugrul Ghazi, also known as Ertughal, is the founder of the Ottoman Caliphate. He was born in 1191 AD and died in 1280 AD. In some places the year of his death is written as 1281 AD.
He had three sons named Ganduz, Sauchi and Usman. His third son, Uthman, founded the Caliphate in 1291, ten years after his death, which became known as the Ottoman Caliphate, but was founded by Ghazi Ertugrul himself.
The Ottoman Caliphate lasted from 1291 AD to 1924 AD, ie for 600 years the Turks defended the Muslim Ummah with their swords.
The same caliphate in its time modernized the Prophet's Mosque, the Grand Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. He also performed great deeds such as the mausoleum of Amir Hamza Riz, a grand canal to Makkah, a train project to Makkah and the construction of a plywood wall around the shrine of Mustafa صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Artughal Ghazi belonged to the Kai tribe. His father's name was Suleiman Shah and he had three brothers named Sarem, Zwaljan and Guldaro. Your mother's name was Haima.
Your tribe first came to Iran from Central Asia to deal with the Mongol invasion, then came to Anatolia from Iran. There Sultan Allauddin was the Sultan of the Turkish Seljuk Empire. The Seljuk Empire was founded by Sultan Alp Arsalan and later became its Sultan Allauddin. Under the shadow of the same Sultan Allauddin lived 12 Oghuz tribes, one of which was the Kai tribe.
After the death of his father Suleiman Shah, Artagul Ghazi became the chief of the Kai tribe.
The Kai tribe, under the leadership of Artagul Ghazi, first came to Ahl اہلt and then reached Aleppo. Where Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi's grandson Aziz ruled.
Artagul found out that Aziz was surrounded by traitors in his palace and he had become a puppet in their hands, so he first rescued Aziz from the traitors and befriended him.
He later married Halima Sultan, niece of Sultan Allauddin. Made friendships between the Ayubians and the Seljuks. Conquered a stronghold of the Crusaders near Aleppo. He later became a close associate of Allauddin.
Now it was time for the Mongols to invade. Artigal defeated Noyan, a key Mongol leader who was the right-hand man of the Mongol king Oktai. Oktai Khan was the son of Genghis Khan, and Oktai Khan's son was Hulagu Khan. Who had crossed all bounds of tyranny in Baghdad, the streets of Baghdad were filled with blood, and the Euphrates River had turned red.
After defeating Noyan, Artigal took his tribe to Soghat, very close to Constantinople, where he conquered the important fortress of Byzantium, where he gathered all the Turkic tribes.
After Sultan Allauddin, his son Ghiasuddin became Sultan, and his daughter was married to Usman Ghazi. Sultan Ghias-ud-Din was martyred in a battle after which Usman Ghazi became Sultan. Beyond the descendants of Usman Ghazi, Sultan Muhammad the Conqueror was born, who conquered Constantinople in 1453.
Ertughal Ghazi was a great fighter of Islam and there must be a spiritual aspect behind every fighter. Shaykh Mohi-ud-Din Ibn Al-Arabi was the name of the spiritual figure whom Allah Almighty had placed behind the great warriors like Irtghal by the grace of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
