Kadena keeps popping up on my radar and to be honest I am glad I found a coin report on the project, written by the altcoin legend Nik Patel and the team at https://provisin.com (crypto tools and analytics dashboard for beginner and pro traders).
Founded in 2016, the pair behind it actually met working on JP Morgan’s Blockchain Centre of Excellence. Stuart Popejoy was the Director, while Will Martino was the Lead Engineer, Martino also previously worked in security at the SEC. If you’ve heard of a better blockchain team do let me know.
Kadena centres around providing highly-scalable solutions for blockchain application development. They have released three projects to date: their 500 node permissioned blockchain network (proven to function at 8,000 transactions per second - not bad); their smart contract language; and a blockchain interface.
