Oh STEEM .. what has happen ??

Got up this lovely morning and BOOM ! STEEM blockchain just got taken over by Justin Sun and ran a soft fork to release Steemit Inc's stake. This was done with the help of the exchanges binance, huobi and poloniex.

The implications of that was Justin Sun now has full consensus to do almost any upgrade to the Steem blockchain. Of course, this had fueled a lot steemians to be unhappy as to how it was done and in retaliation, a lot of the STEEM related APPs have now ceased to function.

I would think that this would have been done way much better if both side were able to communicate much better however what's done is done and we can only move forward.

We are really saddened by the fact that key personals from Steemit Inc has tendered their resignation and we understand that they must be in an extremely horrible situation caught in between all of this.

Since there would be a "Townhall" on the 6th March, I can already guess how heated the conversations would be. But I hope that everyone would be able to compromise and we as community members just want whats best to see the Steem blockchain grow. My passion and love is still for the Steem blockchain and will continue to try and grow it.
