It was a bikepacking trip across the Katy Trail when I noticed the rear tire on the ECR was almost flat. Just add a little air I thought. Another 1/4 mile later, same issue. Come to find out....the sealant was gone! This without ever having had to my knowledge a puncture at all! Turns out, you don't have to have a punctured tire in order to need to maintain the sealant in your tubeless tires. Learn more with this video on tubeless tire maintenance and how often to check and add more.
