I'm like you when it comes to vlogging when passing people while vlogging :). Funny thing is, if you hold the phone in portrait mode, they just assume you're on FaceTime or Skype with someone and nobody cares. The minute you go into landscape mode, the entire world stares at you haha. You're right though, with a gimbal it seems less "dodgy" somehow.. like you're not trying to sneak a video or photo of someone.
Hope you able to run soon. I'm walking daily right now until I get back to my normal weight when I can run without destroying my knees.
