In this video, I will be showing how the army ant attack my neighborhood.
I live in a village and I keep goats and poultry birds. most often these Army ant would come at night and attack my goats since they are in their house, the goats would remain helpless until I hear their cry for help and I come to free them for safety.
A few days ago, I had gone to sleep it was around past 2 am the goats kept bleating I felt they were hungry as their usual manner is, but the shout became highly intolerant to my ears so I went to them with a torchlight I didn't notice the colony of the army ants until I got warming from one of the ants with a big head I concluded that any enemy was around I quickly opened the door for the goats and they left in a hurry.
I was so tired that night I didn't want to stay much awake so I went back to bed and in the morning I decided to go round to check if the army ants were still available though they had left our immediate compound I had to trace them and I saw them close to my neighbor's house while they were on their journey to a new site .
Something about these ants got my attention. The unity amongst them, everyone knows what its duty and stays on point. the walkers, the mother and the colony defenders all doing what is expected.
