Lolli the Lucky Runner Duck Survives a Raccoon Attack - A Second Chance to Live - April 20, 2022

One of my Chocolate Runner ducks was the victim of a Raccoon attack earlier this week. Luckily, I was home and heard the commotion outside. I ran outside and saw a Raccoon in the Duck Coop. I was able to scare it off without the use of lethal force. Unfortunately, it already had done some serious damage to Lolli. She was able to survive, and now it's a matter of keeping her wound clean and helping her fight infections. What a lucky duck!
