We decided to go from Tblilisi to the military road to the town of Stepantsminda, famous for the beautiful Tsminda Sameba monastery located at an altitude of 2,170 m above sea level, to which we made a small trip. The dominant element of the local landscape is, of course, the mountain, or rather the extinct volcano Kazbek 5,045 m above sea level. , which we had a beautiful view of from our place of residence.
