This whole wheat milk porridge is the best way to introduce wheat for babies for the first time as it is easily digestible and husk free. Punjabi whole wheat /Samba whole wheat can be used to make this porridge. It can be given to babies from 6 months.

Ingredients
3-4 tbs ghee
Barley or porridge 1 cups
Water 3 Glass
Sugar 5 tbs or as per taste
Milk 3 Glass
Method
Heat the ghee or oil in pan then add 3 cardamom in it. After that add 2 cups of porridge or barley. Cook it for 6 to 7 minutes until the barley changes its colour. Then add 3 glasses of water. Cover the lid and cook it for 30 minutes. Add sugar in it according to your taste cook it until the porridge or dalia becomes soft and thick. It is ready to eat.
