Student protesters were clashing with riot police during rally against the government's new draft university reform bill in Athens. Police tried to disperse the crowd with tear gas before a tense stand-off took place as the students attempted to gather near the parliament building. New proposals would install state security divisions on university campuses and also impose limits on how long students can take to complete their degrees.
