:( yeah it's truly very flashy. I turned down the effects so I can't see other players abilities but it's definitely too much for those who aren't accustomed to it.
It eases you into this when you start playing but even later on in the game you feel like you're getting flashbanged at times.
I'll try to see if I can incorporate a warning of some sorts for those who are very sensitive towards this kind of stuff, so thanks for raising the issue!

I also have very sensitive eyes especially to light so having the monitor I do I had to adjust the settings. Probably won't play the game. Never been a fan of final fantasy.
