OBS Studio 25.0 Release Candidate 1 is out, overlays drag and drop from website and .srt support, neat! :)

So I got the headsup on this when I woke up from one of the subscriptions I follow on YouTube from eposvox — he makes some great tutorials about obs and streaming in general and he’s always pretty much first to release updated information like this.

Some great news in here for people who were looking for a bunch of bug and crash fixing (obs has been known to be super unreliable for me so anything there is good) but it also has a few stand out things like .srt support and these new drag and drop source overlays which I really love and I think would be perfect for deploying for steem/steemcasting in general moving forward.

I realise that we are in the middle of a blockchain governance war but for the last few days I’ve been listening intently for hours and hours each day and I really need to get back to doing my own stuff too — I realise it’s the very core component of the steem blockchain and it’s home but until we change strategy I think this is gonna be going back and forth.

If you are interested in what I’m thinking about regarding stream portals, all things blockchain integration (steem or otherwise) then take a watch, give it a follow/sub on YouTube and I’ll catch up with you really soon, this news too the place of another post that’s coming tomorrow for steemcasting.
