- “Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
- “AND WHOEVER DOES NOT FALL DOWN AND WORSHIP SHALL BE CAST IMMEDIATELY INTO THE MIDST OF A BURNING FIERY FURNACE.” ”

• If you do not bow you will not be burnt
- “Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire.
- And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, AND THEY SAW THESE MEN ON WHOSE BODIES THE FIRE HAD NO POWER; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.”
Daniel 3:26-27 (NKJV)
- God can only fight your cause when you absolutely trust in Him.
SOME still believe they needed to help themselves before God could help them. - The truth is that if you can help yourself, God would not need to help you.
- Whatever you think and believe you can do by yourself, God would not be involved.
- God can only help those who trust in Him, not those who trust in their own abilities:
“Their Redeemer is strong; The LORD of hosts is His name. HE WILL THOROUGHLY PLEAD THEIR CASE, That He may give rest to the land, And disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon" (Jeremiah 50:34 NKJV). - The God we serve and work for is strong.
- He is the Lord of Host.
- He will thoroughly be plead your case.
- He will give rest to your land—ministry, assignment, or whatever.
- He will disquiet, cease the peace, of the inhabitants of Babylon—the ENEMY who stand to oppose you in your work.
- God pleaded the case of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and yours would not be an exception.
REMEMBER, He can only plead your case If your trust in Him is absolute!
• Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego looked to Him, trusted in Him, and were radiant, and they were not ashamed (Psalm 34:5).
“Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “BLESSED BE THE GOD OF Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, WHO SENT HIS ANGEL AND DELIVERED HIS SERVANTS WHO TRUSTED IN HIM, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God!” Daniel 3:28 (NKJV)
- Angels are on ASSIGNMENT to attend to the needs of those who trust in God: “ARE THEY NOT ALL MINISTERING SPIRITS SENT FORTH TO MINISTER FOR THOSE WHO WILL INHERIT SALVATION?” (Hebrews 1:14).
- Some people think the ministry of angels has passed, that they are no longer on assignment.
- Angels are still on assignment, As it was in the Bible days.
YOU should engage the ministry of angels in your work. - Your should put your ANGELS to work.
GOD has assigned companies of angels to work with every believer in Christ Jesus and ministers of the gospel.
- “Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
- No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
- FOR HE SHALL GIVE HIS ANGELS CHARGE OVER YOU, TO KEEP YOU IN ALL YOUR WAYS.
- In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
- You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.”
Psalm 91:9-13 (NKJV)
- Nebuchadnezzar testified that God sent His Angel to deliver His SERVANTS—Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego—who trusted in Him (Daniel 3:28).
- God has dispatched angels to work with you in your ministerial ASSIGNMENT and all your daily endeavours.
- You must be conscious of their presence and availability, to activate and engage their services.
- Those who inherit salvation are believers in Christ Jesus—those who are born-again: “ARE THEY NOT ALL MINISTERING SPIRITS SENT FORTH TO MINISTER FOR THOSE WHO WILL INHERIT SALVATION?” (Hebrews 1:14).
29.“Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”
- Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego in the province of Babylon.”
Daniel 3:29-30 (NKJV)
- What you do will either glorify God's name or dishonor His name.
- What the three Hebrews did, glorified God's name. Your life and ministry should bring glory and honour to God's name.
• Note: There are ministers who's lives and ministries do not give glory to God.
- Your life and ministry would glorify God when you stand on the truth and practice it: “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, TO SHOW HIMSELF STRONG ON BEHALF OF THOSE WHOSE HEART IS LOYAL TO HIM. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”” (2 Chronicles 16:9).
- If your life and ministry bring glory to God's name, you cannot but be promoted.
