  1. "Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.
  2. Then God said, "Let there be a firmament [an expanse] in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters."
  3. Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth "; and it was so."
    Genesis 1:3,6,11 (NKJV)

• There are laws and principles in the Word of God that govern the world.

  • In the Creation story, God shows us some laws like the law of faith, law of propagation, and law of progression.
  • In Genesis 1:3 God said: "Let there be light"; and there was light." And in the verse number 6 of the same chapter, He said: "Let there be a firmament [an expanse] in the midst of waters..."; and there was. God was demonstrating and teaching us the law of FAITH.
  • He demonstrated in that same Genesis chapter 1 verse 11, the law of PROPAGATION. "Then God said: "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth"; and it was so."
  • Also, we could see the law of PROGRESSION in place in the same chapter. God was taking a step at a time. He is the Almighty, the Omnipotent—all powerful. He could create everything He created in six days just in a day. He could have mentioned all those things and said, Everything be! He would however not do that because it would be contrary to His principle.
  • He was creating one thing at a time, that is the law of progression or law of conquest.

• I want you to know that in the programme of God for your Life, one door will lead to another door.

  • You will need to start somewhere in whatever you are assigned to do, although your beginning might be little or small, do not despise it: "For who has despised the day of small things?" (Zechariah 4:10).
Job 8:7 "Though your BEGINNING WAS SMALL, YET YOUR LATTER END WOULD INCREASE ABUNDANTLY."
  • Whatever you are doing presently, or that which you have a vision to do, is a seed, it carries enough strength to be great and big, you just have to nurture it.
YOU might be tempted to despise the little thing you are doing now, I want you to stay on it, it will blossom.
  • The Laws of faith and that of progression complement each other, all you need would not be provided in a day.
  • As you are progressing in whatever you do, you need to have a place for God in your Life and your Business, or whatever.
  • Give God a place in what you are DOING, the Bible says: "UNLESS THE LORD BUILDS THE HOUSE, they labour in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1).
  • There are two categories of people, some work and trust in their hard work, they have the belief that if they can work hard enough they would make it in life. And another set of people trust in God so much and does not work hard at all.
  • You need the help of God to build, do whatever you want to do, and work hard and smart, in order to succeed in God's Way (Proverbs 3:5,6).
IN addition to that, as you progress further, you need to have a sense of gratitude. It was said, Until you are grateful you cannot be great! "IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS; FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS FOR YOU" (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
  • As you do know, nothing can be done by your own strength, you have to appreciate God for whatever result you get (1 Samuel 2:9; John 15:5).
  • The work you are doing might not be yielding much, with that, appreciate God for it and be faithful in the doing of it. God will soon promote you if you know how to give thanks!
  • Remember, some of your mates whom you left school together are yet to find their bearings. If you can be faithful in that little which God has committed to your hand, you will soon be put over much (Matthew 25:21,23).
    JUST be faithful and grateful!
  • You have got no partner in marriage, thank God for your single life and use it to serve God faithfully (1 Corinthians 7:34).
BE committed to the service of God, in the place of service your right partner will surface.
  • It is even a privilege to know Christ before you marry, some have married now, they wish they knew Christ before they married.
  • If you are married but yet to be fruitful, you are believing God for the fruit of the womb, thank God for your home, and the spouse God has given you.
IF God could give you a spouse, He will give you children also: "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, HOW SHALL HE NOT WITH HIM ALSO FREELY GIVE US ALL THINGS?" (Romans 8:32).

• There is room for progress in every phase of life, if you can put in place the law of progression, allow God in all your pursuit, and endeavour to possess a deep sense of gratitude.

  • All you need will come little by little, therefore take your steps one after the other: "LITTLE BY LITTLE I WILL DRIVE THEM OUT from before you, until you have increased, AND YOU INHERIT THE LAND" (Exodus 23:30).
  • Whatever you have now, no matter how big or small it may be, it would be nothing in compare with what God will do in your Life.

• As you obey and follow the principles shared in this piece, I see you going higher in every field of endeavour in the mighty name of Jesus.
Peace!
