SINGLE LIFE 3
"DON'T LET THE EXCITEMENT OF YOUTH CAUSE YOU TO FORGET YOUR CREATOR. HONOUR Him IN YOUR YOUTH BEFORE YOU GROW OLD AND SAY, “Life is NOT pleasant ANYMORE.”
Ecclesiastes 12:1 (NLT)
• You can only know what God has in plan for you through the Spirit of God, and that is when you have a good communion or fellowship with Him.
- When your mind is renewed, your way of thinking is changed (Romans 12:2). This renewing of mind is the salvation of your soul, the human nature: "THEREFORE PUT AWAY ALL FILTHINESS AND RAMPANT WICKEDNESS AND RECEIVE WITH MEEKNESS THE IMPLANTED WORD, WHICH IS ABLE TO SAVE YOUR SOULS [human nature]" (James 1:21 ESV).
- After you had presented your body as a living Sacrifice (Romans 12:1), and your mind is renewed or saved (Romans 12:2), then, you would need to grow in the fellowshipping of your spirit, inward man, with God through the Holy Spirit who dwells in your spirit—the inward man.
• A carnal Christian is a believer, though professed to be born-again, who does things according to the dictates of the the flesh. Such a Believer's mind is preoccupied with the affairs of life, there is no place for the Word of God in his or her life:
5 FOR THOSE WHO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE FLESH SET THEIR MINDS ON THE THINGS OF THE FLESH, BUT THOSE WHO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT, THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT. 6 FOR TO BE CARNALLY MINDED IS DEATH, BUT TO BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED IS LIFE AND PEACE. 7 BECAUSE THE CARNAL MIND IS ENMITY AGAINST GOD; FOR IT IS NOT SUBJECT TO THE LAW OF GOD, NOR INDEED CAN BE. 8 SO THEN, THOSE WHO ARE IN THE FLESH [the believers who are being controlled or ruled by the flesh] CANNOT PLEASE GOD" (Romans 8:5-8 NKJV).
- Such a believer, though claimed to be born again, but he or she is like a natural man, someone who is not born-again: "BUT THE NATURAL MAN DOES NOT RECEIVE THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD, FOR THEY ARE FOOLISHNESS TO HIM; NOR CAN HE KNOW THEM, BECAUSE THEY ARE SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED" (1 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV).
- For you to know, or discover the plan of God for your life, you need to renew your mind with the Word of God, As said earlier, And allow God to lead you through the Holy Spirit who is dwelling on the inside of you—in your inward man.
- Your spirit, the inward Man, has three major parts or ways of functioning; the intuition, fellowship, and conscience. Through the intuition, you get to know God's Will, whatever He wants you to do and what He does not.
a. Your fellowshipping with God is based on the intuition, you talk to Him and hear from Him.
b. While the place of your conscience, which is the voice of your spirit, the inward Man, is, to tell you If whatever you did is right or wrong (Acts 23:1; Romans 9:11; Hebrews 13:18).
c. Your conscience, as a Believer and a new creation in Christ Jesus, is active (Romans 12:15; Hebrews 9:14), and it is safe to be followed (Romans 9:11; 2 Corinthians 1:12). Your conscience would reprove you If you did anything wrong and affirm the good things you did right (Acts 24:16). - God wants every believer to have a robust relationship with Him, fellowshipping through the spirit, the inward Man, by the Holy Spirit on the inside of him or her.
- When you unwaveringly submitted to the leadings of the Holy Spirit through your spirit, the inward Man, you are said to be living in the spirit, or worshipping God in the spirit and truth (John 4:23,24; Romans 8:5,6; Galatians 5:16,18).
• What are the benefits of living your life in, or walking in, the spirit; in the total submission to the leadings of God?
- When you take the step of renewing your mind, and then being submissive to the leadings of God via the Holy Spirit in your spirit, the inward Man; this would happen: "THEN YOU WILL LEARN TO KNOW GOD'S WILL FOR YOU, WHICH IS GOOD AND PLEASING AND PERFECT" (Romans 12:2).
- God's Will or Plan for your life, is good and pleasing, only If you would walk with Him and be able to discover It. God has prepared good and great things: "THAT IS WHAT THE SCRIPTURES MEAN WHEN THEY SAY, “NO EYE HAS SEEN, NO EAR HAS HEARD, AND NO MIND HAS IMAGINED WHAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM” (1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT).
• Stop wasting your Time, use your single Days wisely. The earliest you come to reconcile with your Maker, God, the Best.
- The earliest you discover the plans and purpose of God for your life, the best.
- Stop living and wallowing in Sin. Come to Jesus. Accept Him as your Saviour and the Lord of your life, that you may have a colourful future.
- As a young person, let God help you; come to Jesus Christ now. Those friends you see today would not be there, when things turn sour for you (Luke 15:13,14). Welcome Jesus Christ into your heart now.
- As a Bachelorette, stop messing around with your life; fooling around, sleeping with different men. Most of those who are running after you at this your flower age would soon desert you. The beauty which you are selling will soon be faded. For you not to regret Tomorrow, come to the Lord Jesus Christ:
1 WE THEN, AS WORKERS TOGETHER WITH HIM ALSO PLEAD WITH YOU NOT TO RECEIVE THE GRACE OF GOD IN VAIN. 2 FOR HE SAYS: “IN AN ACCEPTABLE TIME I HAVE HEARD YOU, AND IN THE DAY OF SALVATION I HAVE HELPED YOU.” BEHOLD, NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME; BEHOLD, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION" (2 Corinthians 6:1,2 (NKJV).
• It is my prayer that you will not regret at the end of your Journey on earth.
- I command every thirst and Desire for Sin, in your Heart, to die now, in Jesus' name.
- Receive a new heart, a heart to serve God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. And receive a clear direction for your life in Jesus' name.
- Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus' name.
Peace!
STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
- If you took the steps As highlighted above, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
