indifference is a solid middle ground, daily stoic reading today!

I love this book.

everyday I can pick up and no matter how scattered my thoughts are I can recalibrate and start from scratch rebooting my brain on a better firmware, often times it gives me a thin thread back to a previous thought or confirms that I’m still in consideration of something. It’s a great anchor for times when you might fall into a cascading loop.

I’m very indifferent at the moment as to what is progress and what is posturing. But I guess none of that stuff is my business if I don’t have as much stake as other people. I should be motivated by the fact that securing the chain will be even more important to them thus giving me a safe, secure blogging space on the chain if we have consensus witnesses who no1 mission is to keep this chain reliable, evolving and secure.

At first I thought this might send bad signals to further investors but I realise now that actually if you are a smart investor it’s a great signal that those who already are invested are willing to fight for it. There is strength in numbers as we have seen and that’s often a good thing for the little guy on the periphery.

I certainly changed my voting patterns and while that might have initially been emotionally charged over the last few days I’ve returned to voting back in those that have written or shown their colours in their current headspace through everything.

I also see that the ethereum community have been fighting a recent change too, did steem inspire a whole bunch of chains to face up to the potential threats to come out of left field on our chains in the future and is this simply good training for what might yet to come?

Either way, thankful for dialog and education.
