I am running the Original DTubers initiative for a very long time now and I would call it a success for the whole community already. With the whitelist initiative we have created an onboarding structure to support new users with their first incoming transfer. But also the whitelist initiative provides a way to help curators to check if users are legit and they don't vote on content thefts.
In total we have verified 117 original dtubers in the last 9 months. Many of them have been new creators but a few are also well known people on dtube. We helped new users in starting their journey on the platform with a minimal but enough amount of DTC to refill their VP after their uploads. If you dont know what DTC and VP and the refilling of VP means, feel free to subscribe to the channel dtube-onboarding because there we'll post videos on that kind of topics in near future.
In total we gave 1170 DTC to the original dtubers - for which I got a few donations from D00k13 on behalf of the onelovedtube community next to the payment I did from my own wallet. I spend a lot of DTC and I want that to change with this video.
Two weeks ago the price changed extremely. It gone up to almost 3$/DTC and now on the 18th of November it is back at 36cent. Soooooo to give away a fixed amount of DTC never has been a very smart decision. This concern has also been noted by one of the donators and he asked me to lower the veriffication gift by half.
The DTC is ment to be a wallet starting amount and nothing people can get "rich" of. But to give away 30usd for creating a very very very simple video is not the goal of it at all.
So I agreed and set the new onboarding reward to 5 DTC for now. In future that will change again - so don't pin my down on that. We will inform you about any changes and further development of the initiative from the dtube-onboarding channel.

Only 117 original Dtubers in the last 9 months!? That is shocking! I just sent 100DTC to onboarding and I will reward the top Dtubers every month from now on and I will encourage others to chip in a little, I hope that will help :S
