Beautiful India

Last week I visited Lotus temple in Delhi. The structure is made up of pure white marble. The architect chose the lotus as the symbol common to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam. This temple is built in the shape of a lotus flower and is the last of seven Major Bahai's temples built around the world.
This temple has no idols of any God. Baha’ullah from Persia founded Baha’i faith over a hundred and fifty years ago. Baha’i temples are constructed in various parts of the world. They represent the essence of the faith, as visitors from all religions are welcome here to meditate . The seven places where Baha’i temples are located are North America, Australia, Uganda, Germany, Panama, Samoa and India.
