Hello lovely people,
Wishing you all of a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi. I have immense faith in Lord Ganesha, I share a very special bond with him which I can not put into words.
Lord Ganesha
I woke up at 8.30 am and went straight to take a shower. I had my soaked dry fruits and prepared morning tea.
Modak
Today is Ganesha Chaturthi So I prepared Ganesha's favorite sweet, Modak. It was made of Milk, ghee, and sugar. After that, I made a backdrop of marigold and rose flowers for decoration.
Backdrop For Decoration
I decorated my temple and worshiped Lord Ganesha. He is worshipped before doing any auspicious work and the only God who is offered scutch grass also called 'durva' grass.
Scutch Grass
People were playing the Ganesha's song in loud volume in my society, the whole environment was giving the festive feel.
It was late for breakfast and I prepared Suji(semolina) ka halwa with paratha. Suji ka halwa is kind of a sweet but it's also popular as a breakfast. There are several variants of this dish with other names like sheera, mohan bhog and etc.
Partha With Suji Halwa
I was scrolling through my phone, spend some time on social media and after that, I started working on my laptop.
I prepared Rajma(Red kidney beans), chapati, and rice in lunch. I soaked Kidney beans overnight. I boiled Rajma in one Cooker and made gravy for it in another pan. Rajma Chawal is one of the staple food in north India and most popular among Punjabis. Any Punjabi in the house? haha.
After having lunch, I watched 'What a girl wants' on Netflix, I would say It was a cute but boring movie. So many stupid cliches, which can never happen in real life. There is nothing bad about this movie but I didn't enjoy it.
In evening after having tea with snacks, I video called my mom and my sisters. We had a long chat.
I worked out for some time. I was pretty pumped up.
Then, I prepared dinner and had it around 9:30 pm. I watched a show on Netflix for an hour. The show's name is Glow up. After that, I went to bed.
So that's all for today's diary post. Thank you for reading it.
Here is my introduction post.

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. When ever I go through your diary post, I got to experience a very neat and clean arrangement. That reflection of your daily life is very timely.
I consider "Rajma-chawal, and chole" as the DNA of north India in the food segment. And so as "Idli & Dosa" in south India.
Have a great day.
Steem on.
