Betterlife | The Diary Game-13/05/20 | First entry

Hello Steemians.. this is my first ever diary entry. Hope you would have fun reading it.

Dear Diary,

Today I woke up at 7.30 . The weather was gloomy and the sun rays were hidden when I looked through my window into the sky,maybe it would rain today, I thought to myself. I searched for my phone underneath the blanket, read through the notifications. There was a beautiful verse from KJV bible Proverbs 3:5-6 on my pop up,let me quote it here.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart
and lean not unto thine own understanding
In all thy ways acknowledge him
and He shall direct thy paths

After doing my daily morning chores, I made masala tea and we had it with bananas around 7.50am. Then I went into the terrace and watered my plants. They were looking really pretty with all the blooming flowers.

Then I cleaned the terrace and collected all the dry leaves and fed our goat Jeru. She loves to eat them. After that our family spent some time discussing about the covid situation and rest of the news articles. I made some oats and garnished it with dry fruits and saffron and had it as breakfast at 9.30..I had made it extra for our doggie,Ol, she gave me a handshake, ate and licked it clean. Now i had to wash the vessels and prepare for Lunch. I had made rotis, mutton curry, dal Makhani and some rice and we had it around 1.30 . Ol showed her puppy eyes and as usual got her share from us! Jeru got her share of chopped cucumbers and carrots.

I wanted to chill for some time in the terrace under the mango tree in the hammock. After enjoying the shade, I decided plant some veg seeds which I had ordered from Amazon. I sowed onion, chilly,tomato, brinjal,beans,ladies finger ,cucumber, spinach ,lettuce and balsam, which is a flowering plant.By the time It was done, it started drizzling and I had to quickly wash my hands and remove all the clothes hung for drying and carry them inside. It rained well and the atmosphere cooled down. How can one enjoy rain without some tea. I quickly made some and we enjoyed it with Kerala chips and chit chatted for a while around 4.

We had got an automatic stitching machine from Adonai recently , I decided to go through the manual to learn about its functionality .As i am an absolute beginner to stitching,I read through half of it and slept off , woke up and saw it’s 6 already. More cleaning utensils and sweeping floor was done.Now it’s prayer time.

We love to sing praises to God almighty by playing piano everyday and the time was 7 pm already. We prayed for an hour. For dinner, we all voted for kfc. There is this family bucket with 4 different dips , we ordered that and decided to select a movie for watching meanwhile. Went through multiple trailers and by the time we decided on “ The equalizer 2” starring Denzel Washington;our bucket was home.

We enjoyed the bucket with Ol and Jeru got rice and dal Makani to eat.It was already 9.30 by the time we were done and now it’s movie time ! It had a pretty good plot with a nail biting action scene ending, I would absolutely recommend watching it. By the time we finished, I felt hungry again, so gobbled a glass of milk , said our prayers and slept.
