Better Life - The Diary Game - 30 Dec 2021 - Penultimate Day of the Year [10% $ to BOI]

Today was another chilly and cloudy affair. The Sun God didn't appear throughout the day. Perfect setting for picnic parties across the state.

I got up around 8:30 AM. After brushing and getting fresh, I had a cup of tea. Then I picked up a book of English grad course which belonged to my sister.

I had no intention to read the book but just the cover illustration got my attention. Then after knowing the story in brief, I went to have a walk around the village just to warm up.

I saw the market place buzzing with roadside vendors selling fish, ducks, chicken and eggs for the 31st December party occasions everywhere in the locality. It seemed as if Covid is a non-existent thing. Everybody was freely roaming around without safety measures. In an hour and a half, I returned back.

Around noon, my mom told me to feed the cattle with routine meal as the winters inhibit growth of grass and grazing becomes a problem. So I went and did the same.

After lunch, I took little rest and enjoyed the India v South Africa game. By evening, India had won the game comfortably and in the process, became the first cricket team to defeat the Proteas at Centurion. Feels great that India has been doing great overseas in the last year and a half.

In the evening, I lazily spent the time chatting with my friends on WhatsApp. Just discussing about random stuff. Now dinner is done and I will stay awake to catch the Manchester United v Burnley game from 1:45 AM on Star Sports.
