College life can be regarded as one of the best period of a student's life. We're out of high school and enter a whole new world full of knowledge, excitement and fun. With the right amount of freedom and responsibility, it is the phase which builds our career and future.
So today I went to my college Ramanujan Junior College(RJC), Nagaon which has now become a part of my Alma Mater. Although I had received the softcopy of my 12th Marksheet but today I decided to get my original document in hand. I was accompanied by my dad and my brother @brahmaputra joined us from Guwahati. We started our journey to Nagaon from our village home at 8 am.
Since it was a Monday morning so got stuck in traffic on the NH 37 across the Saraighat bridge.
My brother was waiting at the NH bypass in Guwahati; we stopped and picked him up. After that we again continued our journey. The weather today was really hot with a temperature of 31°C. 🥵 We passed through two toll gates; one at Sonapur and the other one at Raha.
We entered Nagaon at around 12:40 pm. Then we reached our College at around 1:10 pm. On entering the college campus I was filled with nostalgia about my days in the college. We went upstairs to the first floor where the college office room is. From there I collected my Transfer Certificate and Character Certificate and moved towards another room.
There our Librarian and a few other office staff were distributing the other documents. Upon entering the room, everyone greeted me warmly. I wished them "good afternoon" and we exchanged a little conversation. After that they gave me my Higher Secondary Marksheet, Certificate, Migration Certificate, Provisional certificate and a few other documents.
Then I went to see the newly renovated library on the 3rd floor. But unfortunately I couldn't as it was locked. But luckily I could catch a glimpse through the window. After that I came downstairs and bade a final goodbye to the college staff.
Since I was a hosteller back during my college days my juniors wanted to meet me once before I leave permanently. But unfortunately I couldn't meet everyone because they were off to their colleges. While I was collecting my documents from the college one of my juniors was constantly texting to know whether I've finished my work or not. I told her to be ready as my work in the college was nearly over. She was relieved hearing that and was waiting at the hostel gate. On reaching the hostel, I got down from the car and we decided to hang out for sometime before leaving.
That's the Kolong river, a southbank tributary of the Brahmaputra, that flows right across the heart of Nagaon town.
My dad and brother relaxed in the car, meanwhile me and my junior went to our all-time favourite 'Foodzone'. The cafe staff there were excited to see me since I visited the cafe after a long while. We ordered chicken fried rice and took a bottle of Tropicana pomegranate juice to beat the summer heat.
My junior clicked this even before I could pose, LOL 🤭😂
After completing our meal we headed towards our hostel where my dad and brother had been waiting. I bade her goodbye and got in the car. We returned from Nagaon at around 3:00 pm.
We reached our village home at 7:00 pm. Upon reaching home I washed my hands and after changing chose to take a quick cool shower.
On my way back I kept recalling the memories created in Nagaon and of course in my college. By 9pm, we had our dinner a lil' early than always and I am off to my bed. I am very tired and having a severe headache. After completing this write-up, I prefer a sweet & calm slumber.
Thank you for your valuable time. Hoping for your support in my Steemit journey.

Yes bro. A full week of tutorial before posting. 😊
Convincing users to join is a tough ask. Some think it's a scam which can land us in jail, others ask how much time will it need to generate a 100k INR?? 😂
Still trying my best to get genuine users with interest. I won't lie. 😁
