Betterlife with Steem || The Diary Game || my diary date:- 08/02/2022

Good morning my steemit family. How are you all ?? Hope everyone is doing well.

I got up very sharp 4 am in the morning today because today me and some of my hostel mates have planned to visit Magh mela in Prayagraj. I just left my bed and quickly went to get fresh. Everyone was getting ready as fast as they can because we had to leave for the train as soon as possible. The train timing was 4:50 am but it was little late by 20-25 minutes so we got enough time to reach there.

Everyone was ready so we came out at road and started waiting for auto, our hostel is just near the road so we got no worries to get auto. We reached the Varanasi Cantt at 5 am and our train was yet to arrive on the platform number 2.

We got the train and it took almost two and half hours to reach Prayagraj junction. We took auto from outside the station for Sangam Ghat. Vehicles are not allowed till Sangam Ghat so he dropped us at a point, from where we had to walk for almost 1 km but it was foggy and cold so we covered the distance without even realising it.

Sunrise at Magh Mela

The Magh Mela is one of the biggest annual religious event for Hindus. According to the Hindu mythology the origin of the Magh Mela to be the beginning of Universe. I was telling my friends about it because i had read so much about Magh mela in some books as my father love to bring and read some religious books so in childhood I also used to read with him . An important occasion, the Magh Mela is held every year at Triveni Sangam where the confluence of the three great rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati in Prayag, at Prayagraj. Sangam Ghat is very famous here and alot of people used to spend almost a month here, devotion is on another level here. Even we were feeling so energetic after coming here.

People were taking bath and everyone is so excited about taking bath at Sangam, the confluence of the holy Ganga Yamuna and Saraswati. We also took bath here and then we went in nearby Aashram to have breakfast, here anyone can have breakfast lunch and dinner for free at any Aashram so we enjoyed our breakfast and then we decided to visit more places.

After spending alot of time at Sangam Ghat we decided to return but before we return, we had to visit shree Bade Hanuman ji mandir. This is so famous place for shree Hanuman devotees. We came here for visit and we worshipped here and then we took auto to return at railway station. This time we were going to Prayag junction, not Prayagraj.
