BETTER LIFE WITH STEEM || THE DIARY GAME || 19.9.2021

Today, due to the puja ritual at our father-in law's native place I woke up very earkly at 5 am in the morning, completer all the cleaning chores, and took bath, and do morning worship at home, meanwhile, my kids and husband also got read to go the native place which is almost 150 km away from our home. We started our journey at 8 am from home and after 3 hours of driving we reached there, my relatives also reached with their family by their own vehicles.

The pooja was performed was no Idols or any photos of god, but there were just stones and a Trishul, as we belave god is in every particle on the earth, we had come to perform this traditional puja at the place of worship of our elders in remembrance of God.

Every year during this month we perform this pooja. In the early days, such pujas were performed so that agriculture would prosper and the cattle would live well and It was also conducted for the benefit of the people of the world. We continue this so as not to let go of that tradition.

Initially, we cleaned the place and decorate the sacred stone with flowers and cloths, then prepared Pongal with open fire. Pongal is one of the foods which is made with rice, dal, jaggery ghee, and dry fruits.

After that the pooja ritual has been done, the Pongal has been distributed to every as Prasad of God, then we spent a couple of hours at the place. Later we visited the agricultural lands of our relatives, where they cultivating coconut trees, and some crops.
