I won't share my daily routine today. So today I will tell you about my nearest beautiful famous city for Dharma & Education- Varanasi.

It has been 1 and half an year I have not visisted Varanasi due to Covid. Today I am missing it.

Introduction

Varanasi is a city of temples. You can see even small temples at every corner of the street. Even some of the old temples have been found out which were covered between the houses deliberately. The Ganga river flows from here. Two other rivers Varuna & Assi flow here thus it was named after them Varanasi.

How to reach

Varanasi is aone of the big junctions. Many trains are there for various parts of the country. Most of the trains are operated from here.
There is an airport named Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport at Babatpur. You can check from your city to Varanasi, you will find definitely any trains and flights.

Railway Station

First of all when you reach Varanasi cantt. It is very big station. Earliar it had 9 platforms but now there are 12 platforms. The view of the cantt railway station is amazing. There is abig taxi stand out of the station. You can have sharing as well as private taxi 🚕 according to your comfort.

Places to visit

Getting down from your train you will definitely feel a special pleasure. Then you will think where to visit first. The first place I will recommemd you to visit is Vishwanath temple( new) which is located in the campus of Banaras Hindu University ( BHU ).

• Vishwanath temple

It has a big campus and beautiful environment. First of all you have to take a taxi for Lanka, the gate of the BHU. When you will enter, small e-rickshaws will be calling for the temple. Take one of them and you will be there in few minutes.

Visiting here you will forget about other things and you will feel that your fatigue has gone.
After finishing it you can go to other temples like Durgakund, Tulsi Manas, Bharat Mata mandir as well.

• BHU campus

You can choose BHU campus as well to roam in. It is very beautiful. I am sharing some of the pictures of the campus.

Now after roaming too much, If you feel hungry, you can head to any restaurant or dhaba as well. There are numerous food outlets and restaurants. You can find them easily on every street of varanasi.
After all these, in the evening i will recommemd you to go to Ganga Ghat.

• Ganga Ghats

You will feel blessed when you join the Ganga Aarti. There are many ghats namely Dashaswamedh, Manikarnika, Assi ghat, Man mandir ghat etc. Aarti is performed at Dashashwamedh ghat. A huge crowd gathers here during aarti so you should reach here before 6 pm so that you can be ahead. The view is amazing when you visit here on Dev Deepawali.

Now finishing today you have a lot of options for the visit of tomorrow. Now it is evening and you will search a good and economical shelter. So there are many options. Raddison hotel, Ramada plaza, City inn, Pristine Hotel are the famous & comfortable places to stay at. These have charges below 4000/- a day. If you searching for cheap guest houses so you can go to Sukanya guest house, Lakshmi guest house etc. So all the options are available.
