My name is Lavanya, I am a housewife from India.

Today is one of the biggest festivals in India that is Ganesh Chaturthi. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi all of you.

So I wake up very early morning at 5:30 am today. A lot of different dishes, different decorations 🎀 we do today in my home.

After wake up first, I finish my personal activities, then go for design colorful rangoli in front of my home 🏡.

Then I got for taking my morning coffee, today all if you in fast until Ganesh pooja finished, so this morning coffee gives me good 🔋 energy.

After finishing I start preparation if special dishes.

Today all dishes we prepare using rice flour, this is our tradition.

We prepare Modak (sweet dumplings), this is a little bit hard to prepare, for this first we off steam rice flour on mixing with hot 💧 water, then using hands we prepare dumplings, then we fill with sweet powder . this powder we prepare in using coconut and jaggery. After filling in the middle, then we seel with water, then we place a design in edges.

Then again we put in steam until it cooks perfectly. This process is very long and needs the patience to prepare.

Here I give recipes list what we prepare today Idli, does, Modak, Sundal, panakum, vadapappu, vada, moong dal payasam, Appam, vundrallu, chavala kayalalu and many more.

Those names are my local language names, in English, I don't know those names. Hope all if you understand seeing my recipes picture.

Those we prepare today, now we decorate Lord Ganesh with different flowers, 🍂leaf, fruits, and many more.

Here we use 21 different flowers 🌹 , 21 different leaves for today pooja.

For preparing all those arrangements it took around 11 am today. Due to the festival, 🎊 my kids wear traditional dress 👘 for their wishes.

They enjoyed it a lot. For this festival, we buy lord Ganesh idol prepare using clay, after finishing three days pooja, we leave it a lake near my area. This is our tradition.

Along with we prepare another Ganesh Design using Wheat and turmeric combination. Those looking so beautiful and eco-friendly.

Around 1 pm it takes for completing our pooja, after that, we took some selfies 🤳 with our whole family 👪 members. This is an amazing happy moment for us.
