What a fabulous movement and excitement the word "Navratri" indicates is the nine night long festival.
I would like to contest in My favourite festival is none other than "Navratri"

History of Navratri: It was 1st started by Sri Raja kangsha Narayan in late 1500 i.e 522 years back at Taherpur Rajshahi now in Bangladesh earlier it was in india.

As we Hindus born in the divine land of Hindustan,wherein 33 crores of different gods or deities Among them Brahma,Vishnu,shiva,Saraswathi,Lakshmiand Parvathi main Gods are worshiping in india consisting of 28 states and 8 union Territories,718 districts,5162 talukas,4000 cities,7935 towns and 638465 villages among 78.5% of Hindus in Indian population.

The Navratri festival 🎎 is celebrated from Kanyakumari to Himalaya,from common men to prime minister,from cobbler to top business tycoon Mukesh Ambani,from poor peon to president of india.

Navratri festival gives a lot of spiritual power to worship Goddess Navdurga.
This festival is mainly dedicated to goddess Durga i.e Nine forms of Durga.

Day 1 The goddess called Shailputri is a daughter of Himalaya. She wears an orange dress and she is a symbol of success and happiness.

Day 2- goddess Brahmacharini
She wears white dress and she is a symbol of inner peace and love.

Day3: Goddess Chandraghanta: she is decorated from red cloth and she is a symbol of fearlessness and sexuality.

Day 4 Kushmanda: This goddess is celebrated Royal blue color,Devi has Ashtabhuja Devi and she is a symbol of elegance.

Day -5 Skandamata:This goddess is celebrated with yellow cloth and she is a symbol of cheerfulness.

Day - 6 Katyayani: This goddess is celebrated with green clothes and she is a symbol of fertility .

Day7 :kalaratri.This goddess is celebrated in grey coloured clothes and she is a symbol of down to earth.

Day 8 - Mahagauri :This goddess is celebrated using a purple colour dress and she is a symbol of Nobility.

Day 9 Siddhidatri This goddess is celebrated by using peacock green colour clothes she is a symbol of integrity.

This Navratri festival is celebrated by cleaning of all the houses, household things including their shops,vehicles. Overall it's a grand celebration by each and every corner in india.
