Best of India Contest | My Favorite Festival

Welcome to my contest entry post.

Today I like to share about my favorite festival "Diwali(Festival of lights and sweets)". Diwali is the festival where everyone will forget their stress and only enjoy the sweets, meet the relatives and give them gifts and a lot of things. On Diwali, I have some most favorite things which I enjoyed the most so here I shared some pictures of that things.

Rangoli

Diwali is the only festival where I saw the different designs of the rangoli everywhere. Everyone is spending a lot of time drawing the rangoli and shows the different designs, different shades. In our home generally, only give this much time on rangoli on Diwali. I think this is only a festival when Indian ladies give time to their art skills and shows the beautiful artwork of rangoli to everyone.

Crackers

Generally, on Diwali, we all come to friends meet at my friend's house and there we enjoyed the crakers and rocket show. One of our friends is very crazy about crackers so he lights almost all the crackers and we enjoyed the show. This is the only day when we meet all our friends together and enjoyed the company of each other.

Sweets

As you saw in the above images these were the sweets in our "Faral". Faral is the dish of all the sweets and different types of Chivda and we gave them to guests who visit our house during the Diwali days. These all dishes we started to prepare 10 days before Diwali. Besan Ladoo, Shengdana Ladoo was the permanent dish of every year and we waited for Diwali especially to eat the besan Ladoo.

Diya's

In Diwali time the best thing is we decorate our home with Diya's.In my home, we light Diya is on all doors and windows. It is really attractive to look at such a view.

Diwali Funfair

Every year this funfair is organized in our are during the Diwali and its nice to enjoy with all the friends. Only last year this was not organized because of a pandemic. In this fest there is attraction was the huge idols of Indians god is created by lightings.

Laxmi Poojan

In Diwali time we also did worship for Laxmi Goddess as she is the goddess of wealth and prosperity. This was also one of my favorite things as we all people stand together and pray on that day and we all enjoy this day with lots of talk and playing games and the main thing enjoy the prasad.

Enjoying with friends

As you saw in the below picture In Mumbai we get Diwali party from the office where we all enjoy the Diwali meal and did lots of fun dance together. Also, we all get Diwali gifts from the office. This small thing will also give you lot's of joy in the Diwali days.
