Today i explain a one poem. The name of poem is "If i can stop one heart from breaking ". This poem written by Emily Dickinson. It was published in 1929. The poem consumed in two stanza which has 7 lines. It's begins with If I can stop one heart from breaking , I shall not live in vain, that mean It I can stop someone from being miserable, my life will not live in vain.
If I can ease one life the aching,or cool one pain, that mean I can alleviate the pain of depress Parson or apply ointment to his injury. If I could get any one person cool from his vain. That my life being vain.
Now last two lines
Or help one fainting Robin unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain. In this poem one bird compared with human beings. Robin word symbolism bird. I shall not live in vain, If I do any good work then I shall not live in vain.
Poet wants to summarise that If Its griff is alleviated by one deed of our whole life, then our life is not in vian.
