Better Life with Steem | The Diary Game | 02|09|2021 | A visit to our Farm Land

in hive-196725 •  3 years ago

Yesterday it was a long travel day. We travelled to our Farm Land which we had bought some 10 years ago. We have not been able to do anything since the time we bought it, since we moved out of Country, we could not really pay attention to it. When we had bought we had bought with an intention to make a farm house and visit there often to be cut off from the city. But then in the last few years the whole of that area is commercialized and so much of construction has come around this place so then we got in 2 minds because the whole purpose is defeated of cutting away from the city chaos.

We did not intend to build a house there, we wanted to use it for farming purpose, but then all around the area people have built up their villas so the maintenance guy was not very happy with the idea that we were not building a house. Also if we would decide to build the house then it should be as per the standard design of what others had made. All of this I was not finding it so good, because I wanted to do things my way. This is the disadvantage when you buy something in a project. Then you have to start following their instructions.

We finally decided to sell it off and buy something which is not in a crowded location and also a bigger place and a stand alone place where we are the final authority to make all decisions and there is no influence of any third party. Thankfully we managed to get a buyer in a very short time and yesterday we completed all the sale formalities with them. It was a total of 6 hrs of drive to and fro, and was exhausting because of the heavy traffic in the city area that we had to cross, but once we were out of the city, the drive was a pleasure with some amazing views on the way.

First we visited the farm land and then the registrar office. The registrar office was a sad state of affairs. It was in a very shabby condition. We had visited it 10 years back and it was still the same. Anyways that's how things operate here so cannot change much.

This is the land we purchased, and you will see now there is already one villa build up very close to our space.

This is the standard design that everyone has made and if we make our house here, they expect us also to follow the same.

They also have a community pool and a club house made up. You see it had become very commercial and there would be less privacy.

After visiting the land, we proceeded to the registrar office. You will see the condition of it. Inside also papers are just dumped and the whole place is shabby.

It was a rainy day and I totally love this type of climate. The drive was a complete pleasure.

It was a long day, a total of 6 hrs drive and then completing all the formalities left us exhausted, but then the good thing was that all the work was done and we could close on the sale deed completing all the formalities.
Now the next step is to hunt for another land which we plan to do it in a week or two. Hopefully I should get something that I have in my mind. Let's hope for the best.

It is a surprise that you haven't visited your property since last 10 years. I think you must have felt the atmosphere here differently than before because 10 years is a long time. The pictures you have taken during the journey are really amazing.

Have a wonderful day!

@nainaztengra, it seems that it was a hectic day for you, but must say you shared some beautiful pictures with us. I hope now every formalities has been completed.

@nainaztengra, investment in land is a smart choice, but it seems that today was a busy schedule for you. Do not forget to take care of yourself. I must say all Nature pictures you shared are mesmerizing. The colour of the soil looks red.
It is red or because of light it looks red.

Investment on land always gives good returns. I hope if you compare one decade back you'll relized that it's right decision. And now it's converted in commercial area that will be more value of your land.

It always happens when you take part in any project. They want us to build our home according to thier plan. So mean. It's great that you took dicision of seeling it off and buying the new one with less crowded area. Best of luck #nainaztengra
