Morning Date with Self

This is an Iranian Ice-cream cafe, Baba's Ice-cream, very close to my home, but it's not limited to serving only ice-cream, they also do have some variety of Coffee and Tea, and the best I enjoy here is the Saffron Tea. I am a Tea lover (exclude the milky one), I enjoy trying out different flavors of herbal and green teas.

This is an original authentic Iranian ice-cream parlor and going with it's name their stuff is also originally Iranian. Their Ice-cream are very famous in the city. The best part of their ice-creams are that they are very smooth and not filled with icicles. I am not an ice-cream fan so I have not tried any here, but my friends do praise a lot, and then this is one of our joints to hang out after dinner at times. Everyone enjoys ice-cream and I enjoy my Saffron Tea.

Iran is famous for it's Saffron, they are one of the largest exporters of Saffron to the world and the best quality. In this cafe also they use some good quality Saffron. I can make out with the fragrance and the color of it, and also the taste.

Today morning when I woke up, I was a little off, missing family back home, mood was not at it's brightest. I decided to go this place and freshen up myself with my all time favorite Saffron Tea.

It's a mix of all herbs and some strands of Saffron mixed in it, which gives the Tea the rich orange color. Adding up a lemon slice in it, also gives a boost to the flavor. From this Jar I can easily get around 2 and a half cups. It's worth the price the price they charge which is around 3$.

I was terribly missing family, so then while sipping my tea, I made calls to Mom and Sisters and had some long conversations with them. This is a month of family birthday's. Last week we had 3 birthday's, 1 of my Sister, the other one of my niece who turned 18 and my nephew who turned 16. Kids are growing up fast then I can think of. They sent their birthday celebrations pictures and I was feeling like I am missing out on all of this family time with them.

Anyways with all of this, I was trying to make up my mood with the ambiance of this place. They have a variety of other Tea flavors and Coffee also

And their home made ice-creams, which are very famous in the city.

Overall it's a very soothing ambiance, and I any day prefer it to Starbucks or any other coffee joints.

Spending some time here did refresh my mood, and then back home and back to work. First day of the week for me and trying to keep my spirits high.
