Betterlife !! The diary game:- my diary date:- 21/11/2021

Hello steemians! I am @santhoshpriya I currently live in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. I’m new in this Best of India community and this is my first diary post in this community. Hope you all doing well.

Today, I woke up at 6:00am to start preparing for my college friend’s wedding. The wedding held at Bangalore today so I had to leave Chennai yesterday night in order to get to Bangalore early for the wedding.

Immediately, I reached my friend’s house I rushed to her room to take a nap. I woke up and freshened up. My friend’s family really gave me a warmth welcome and they were all happy to see me and they thanked me for honoring the invitation of my friend. I got ready for the function but I found it difficult to strip my saree but my friend’s sister helped me with it.

I met with other college friends who also honored the invitation. The wedding ceremony was like an alumnae meet because almost all of our classmates were present.

After the chat and fun with friends we were given breakfast and a cup of coffee. The family members of the bride were really accommodating and they wanted to over feed us with food.

After we finished breakfast, we all set out for the wedding. It was an elaborate wedding. When we got to the venue people were already seated and everyone was in awe of the decoration on the venue.

When the couple entered the wedding hall, people clapped and cheered at them. The beauty of the bride was mesmerizing.

After all the ceremony, then we went down to eat. The food served were so tasty. We all ate and were satisfied.

We took a group photograph with the new couple and we wished them a blissful new home.
I’m getting ready to travel back to Chennai this night and I have already booked my bus because I must be present in the office tomorrow.

I really had a wonderful weekend in which I was eased of the stress I had during the week.
