Need(s) is more about the survival whereas the want(s) is more about the choice, the luxury, conspicuous consumption.

When there is a big gap persist between need(s) & want(s), then either you are a common middle-class or a poor man. When the gap is smaller or tends to be non-existent, then you are rich(wealth). Very few people in this world have the luxury of non-existent gap between need(s) & want(s).

The rich(wealth) are categorized by smaller/non-existent gap between need(s) & want(s). But the reverse is not true. That is by minimizing the want(s) so as to make the gap between need(s) & want(s) smaller, you can't acquire wealth, however, you can be rich in a different sense-- contentment.

Finally a Sunny Day, with blazing sunshine, with less to average cloud. It was first such day to earn the distinction of a "sunny day" since 12th Aug-- 12 days ago. The sunrise was really beautiful today and I also clicked some shots of the Sunrise.

The day welcomed with Sunrise

I wake up in the very early morning at 4:35 AM as the alarm goes off. I could hear the crescendo of birds and it appears like they are quite happy with the sunshine after a long spell of incessant rainfall over the last 12 days. The motivation itself is intrinsic to the morning aura. How can I miss that by getting up late?

I had two glasses of lukewarm water and then I head to the bathroom for the regular morning routine and personal hygiene. Then on the terrace I sat for yoga(30 mins) followed by meditation(10 mins). The birds arrived on the terrace at the right time, which is at 6:00 AM. I feed them with biscuits and grains.

Now it was time to head to the study table for "study & preparation for the exam". I never compromise with my morning schedule and I find myself in perfect sync with my study in the morning session. So to bring an optimal effect to my preparation, I utilize this time to my advantage.

I continued studying until 10:30 AM. Then I took a break to clean the room and the kitchen, mop the floor and tidy up the things. I also washed the utensil in the kitchen. This took around 20 mins and then it was time to take a shower and perform daily routine "pooja"(worship) at home, being grateful to the almighty for all that I have.

It was 11:25 AM, I opened my laptop to check Stemitblog for updates and ANI News for daily briefings. I also engaged in a few diary posts for the next hour. So today is the 25th day of this 50 days long #thediarygame campaign and as officially announced it is the intermission time and for the next 6 days many diarists will rejuvenate and then start the second part of the game with renewed energy.

Then I head to the kitchen to make "idli" for my lunch. Today I made a different chutney for "idli". I usually make "roasted dal & coconut" chutney to serve with idli. But today I tried "peanut" chutney and it was also quite good. But no the best as compared to the former. Actually I did not coconut this day. So I had to manage with "peanut" chutney.

It was 1:30 PM already when I finished my lunch. As the weather is perfect and not raining, no such sign as well, I decided to visit the nearest store(Reliance Smart) to buy essentials and groceries. It is hardly 0.5 KM from my home.

I found that "tomato" is still very expensive, 64 INR(~0.85 USD) per KG. Potato is also high at this time, 37 INR(~0.49 USD) per KG. The other items like Coconut, Sugar, Jaggery, Tamarind, Rice, Ginger, Garlic, etc I got at a reasonable rate. I also bought an Incense sticks pack, Biscuits, Fryums, Roasted chana dal, Fenugreek, Dahi Mirchi, Soap, etc. The total cost of shopping was 555 INR(~7.44 USD).

I returned home at 3:35 PM. I deposit them(items that I bought today) to the kitchen at the appropriate place. The weather is excessively favorable to keep me energetic today and I am not feeling tired.

I resumed my study at 3:50 PM and continued it for the next two hours. Then at 5:50 PM, I took a break again and started engaging with the diary posts in Steem Blockchain. I continued for the next two hours or so. I also checked my notification box and responded to all the comments and replies.

At 8: 00 PM, onwards I head to the kitchen to prepare food the dinner. I made plain "chawal", "dal", and "bhujiya". It took 45 mins to prepare these dishes. At 9:00 PM I had my lunch. It was very simple, yet very tasty.

I stayed up for another 40 mins before retiring for the day. In the meantime, I played two chess matches and won one out of two.

Exactly, for someone sho is starving, a simple food could be as tasty as rich, delicious food and derive happiness from the silly things. Context!

The tangible wealth is the one that gets you along in the present context, situation, and survival; does not matter if it is in cents or a few dollars or millions.

Those who know their needs and wants well, are the real winners.

Thank you for stopping by:)
