So, I have been away from Steemitblog for the past couple of weeks. It didn't have anything to do with my poorly performing posts. Moreover, it had everything to do with a few other things that I was facing.
Firstly, we recently lost one of the strays I was looking after to a disease called Canine distemper. This was a perfectly healthy dog named Oreo that was also neutered. However, some of the older people near my locality hate all stray dogs and kind of discriminate against them.
So, one of them called up BBMP(Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike) and complained that the dog has rabies. This all happened when I way not at home and the BBMP dog snatchers came and took Oreo away. I struggled for nearly an entire week with countless calls made to their in-hose vet explaining that they have caught a perfectly healthy dog on some false complaint.
This was Oreo a day before things went haywire. :(
Finally after the struggle in August, Oreo was returned. However, he had caught a deadly disease called canine distemper. Even though me and a few others tried to save him with the medication and even 1 whole week of serum transfer, it was too late. I was completely fruited with everyone who discriminate against the stray dogs.
On September 4th, someone came overnight and threw a less than 1 week old pup and disappeared. Luckily, I was able to save this soul and he's healthy now. I will bring you guys the complete details in one of the next post.
Now, coming to the humanitarian that needs our help desperately.(Actually there are 2 one of them is locally known as Auto Pradeep here in Bangalore and the other person is Sundeep Aneja) I don't know any social accounts of Auto Pradeep. However, just came across a post of Sundeep Aneja where he had given up on all such activities.
With Covid running havoc throughout India, it has made the lives of these social workers even harder.
I have seen Mr. Sundeep help countless animals over the past few years and waking up to his post where he spoke about the debts that he owes the animal hospitals is truly heart-breaking. I have sent over whatever I could to him. Here is a link to his facebook account https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001636417515 .
I am also dropping off his number for anyone who can help him out in this needful time directly.
9986599865
If you can do a direct bank transfer to his number, even that would be great.
I am also pledging all my earnings from this post to help him out.
If you are unable to help out at this moment, please rested this post so that it could reach out to the maximum number of people.
Sorry for sounding so needy, but I was really sad by hearing about the loss that Bangalore has to endure because of this.
Apart from the 1 month old pup now being adopted, I have been working on something very cool. Will unveil this new tool that I have been working on probably this week end.(Idea to this came from one of @sapwood's posts :P)
