Since Lockdown started I have watched many web series and movies on OTT platforms like Netflix, MX Player, Hotstar, Amazone Prime. Most of them were The web series that I watched all were had good stories. I watched Ashram, Stranger Things, Ankho Dekhi, Bandish Bandits. But I am going to tell you about what I watched recently.

Recently I watched a movie on Amazone Prime this movie is based on an Army man who fought in Kargil and martyr, yes I am talking about the movie Shershaah. This movie was released on 12th August, 3 days before Independence Day.

This movie is based on an Indian Army Man Vikram Batra. Wo was the Lieutenant in the Indian army.

Movie start with Sidharthe Shukla(Vikram Batra) and Kiara Adwani (Dimple Cheema). Dimple Cheema is the girlfriend of the late Vikram Batra. Who never get married in memory of Vikram Batra.

Here is the story of the movie:-

When the movie starts, Vishal Batra who is the brother of Vikram Batra talked about his brother's life. Vikram Batra belongs to a middle-class family whose father is a teacher. He was playing cricket in street and fought with some boys who took his ball and those boys were elder than Vikram Batra and that shows how fearless he was.

In childhood, Vikram Batara likes to watch tv series Param Vir Chakra. From here he was inspired to join the Indian Army. At the age of 23, he joined the Indian army into the Delta company 13th battalion and was posted in Jammu & Kashmir. Vikram Batra was a very friendly nature man. He keeps good relations with his own army people and locals.

One day his senior Mukherjee got information about weapons smuggling to terrorists so Vikram and his team went to c check posts to search based on information. This was the first time I saw how Vikram Batra's fearless start to fight with them and he saved his seniors also in between the firing and because of his fearless fight they catch the one man who
used to supply the weapons to terrorists and very close to Haider. For this achievement, Vikram Batra gets appreciation from their seniors.

Later Vikram got the information about Haider who used to send the locals to Pakistan for terrorist training. One of the local boy's father gets help from Vikram Batra because he trusts him. Vikram meets his son and gets to know all about Haider activities and Haider suggested he stay with them I will contact you. Then Vikram Batra informed his senior that he has information about Haider and he wants permission to attack him. Vikarma Batra gets the informs of Haider's location and Vikram lead this operation. After a long fight, Vikram killed Haider.

Now the day comes for what people know to Vikram Batra.

The year 1999 when Pakistani troops crossed the Hindustan border and captured the bunkers by killing Indian troops. So Vikram Batra and one of his senior Sanjeev Jamwal(Shiv Pandit) Batallion send to recapture Pt.5140. Before sending to recaptured the bunkers they got their team name and he got the name Shersaah. So Sanjeev Jamwal Bravo company started to cover from the eastern side and destroy the bunkers from there and Vikram Batra Delta company started from the south side and destroy the bunkers from there. On the last light, they had to start and the first light needs to attack them. His senior will keep engaged another end to Pakistani troops by firing so that Vikram and Sanjeev reach at peak without any difficulties. After a fight between the Indian army and Pakistani troops, the Indian army captured Pt.5140. After winning they had to give their winning sign and Vikram Batra's winning sign was Yeh Dil Mange More. He doesn't want to stop after Pt.5140 he wants to Pakistani out from all peaks.

After recaptured Pt. 5140 Vikaram Batra was promoted to Captain Vikram Batra. After this win, Vikaram Batra has to take a rest but he said that I am not going to stop because of Yeh Dil Mange More.

Now there was one more Pt. 4875 that need to be recaptured and this was the last Pt. where Pakistani troops available. So Vikaram Batra started leading his battalion to Pt. 4875 but this Pt. was not the same as before because their Pakistani troops had made multiple Bunkers. Batra and Team spoiled their two bunkers but they had one more bunker on the height. To destroy that bunker they had to fight from the front without any cover support. Then his senior contacts Batra and informed him that get back as Pakistani troops going to get back up in some time but Batra said give me more 15min and at last Vikram Batra started campaigning from the front by continuous firing to save one of man who was get shot but in saving his life Batra also get one shot on his body. But he not stopped and from the front, he started to reach their bunker but one of their snipers hit Batra continuously he got hit on his body but he did not stop firing. At the last, he got shot in the chest and fall down. Sniper was targeting Batra from a hidden place so he was not able to found his exact location from where he is shooting so Batra continuously was firing on the bunker only. At the last, the Indian army identifies the sniper's location and shot him dead. After seeing that Batra got shot and fall down his battalion campaign to bunker and destroyed them and recaptured the Pt. 4875 but Vikaram Batra was no more to celebrate this win.

I started to cry when Vikram Batra gets shots on his body and he was dying. I have watched LOC Kargil also in which Abhishek Bachan had played to role of Vikaram Batra but at that time I didn't realize he sacrificed his life for Country

Vikram Batra had promised his friend that surely I will come Ye to tiranga lahara Kar aunga and tirange me lipat Kar but I will come for sure.

I liked this movie because this is based on a true story and our soldiers who lose their life I was not knowing them. But I know the name of Vikram Batra, Sanjeev Jamal, and many others.

I liked the character of Sidharth Malhotra who played the role of Vikram Batra and keep him alive between us in the whole movie. He shows that how the Indian army fearlessly fought with enemies. He left positive vibes inside me.

Movie songs are really very nice that can keep connected with the moment of Vikram Batara & Dimple. A song that can touch your soul.

I have watched this movie twice but I can see it many times.

I recommended to my friends to watch this movie. Because they should know about the Indian army how they protect us from outsiders by taking their life at risk. They should know about Kargil War soldiers who get martyrs. They should know the importance of life before taking any wrong decision.
